| A week left |

Wow I cant believe that I only have a week left in bismarck, I move to Burnsville, MN on July 19, 2006. I got a call today saying that I got accepted into my apartment so if you want my address get ahold of me and I will give it to you. the nice thing is that Ash is in the same complex as I am so were not terribly far away, theres a total of 5 buildings and Im in the first one and shes in the last one or vice versa depending how you look at it, but its a very nice place. It will be a very nice change to be able to see her daily rather than once or twice a month too. Once I move I probably wont have internet access for a while being as it costs 40 bucks a month for cable and I wont have a land line phone so I wont be able to get DSL or *shudder* dial-up so you probably wont see as much of me on here. Ash just started school and so far she really enjoys it from what shes told me so thats a good thing. from the sounds of things Ash and I might be coming back to Bismarck over labor day weekend because she has a long weekend from school but not quite long enough to go home so her parents might meet us here. this is getting to be long so I will let you rest your eyes now.

I havent updated this in a while cause I'm usualy using myspace and I realized I never told those of you who arent on myspace or arent on my friends list the big news. A couple weeks ago (May 21, 2006) I asked Ash to marry me and she said yes so we are officialy engaged. We're waiting until were done with school to get married so a date hasnt been set yet. She is the better half of me though she always can make me smile no matter what my mood is like and is willing to drop what shes doing if I'm having a bad day. She means the world to me and I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her. best of all though, she puts up with my pranks, like shoving her face in her graduation cake. Those of you wanting the story of how I asked, well theres not much to it, once she opened her presents, I told her that she had 1 more present to open, she looked at me kinda weird as I got down on my knees and moved towards her and said "I love you" I then proceeded to blank out everything else I was planning to say so there was silence for about 10 seconds after she said "I love you too" then I said "Will you marry me" and she said "Yes" the best part was yet to come though, her brother Dustin (seen hovering over us in the picture) said "What just happened?" those present in the room as much as I can remember were: Ash, Me, Dustin, Wyatt, Her mom and dad, her grandma and grandpa on her moms side, her grandma's cousin, her uncle Steve, and Bert.

So as most of you know I have a burning hate of microsoft and as of today I have officialy sworn off use of windows and msn messenger, you can reach me at a new account i have a passport for if you want it ask me for it and ill add you to it. I will be using linux soley and gaim for messenger so i will still be on msn but with a gmail account and gaim. windows can go do its thing to somone else stupid network interuptions. |

Yeah so Target did finaly give us a raise they are now paying sales floor $7 an hour which is nice. I also applied for the multimedia specialist position which is a level 2 so I will get paid even more if i get that but because im not available in the mornings something tells me that I wont be able to get it but you never know. for those of you who have worked at target or are familier with the people who work there its Lynn's position I would be filling.
last weekend rocked a lot too, I went to Plentywood because it was my grandmas birthday the weekend before but I couldnt get work off for it so I took last weekend off so I could take her out to eat for that and it also happened to be the weekened of Ashley's grandmas birthday so I helped them get ready for that as well. it was a very very fun weekend sure it was busy but it was fun because I love hanging out with Ashley's family.
I cant think of anything else to write really so I will just leave now and post sometime in the future. |

so yeah, we had a fire drill at the college today. well some guy came running out of the dorms dripping wet wearing only a towel. i felt bad for the guy cause i was dry in my jeans and t shirt but i was still freezing but it was still funny. all i can say is that would SUCK. anyway in other news ummm... i guess i dont really have any other news except yesterday me and ash have been going out for 10 months:D theres roofers on my house theyre noisy. |

why does everyone seem to think that if nobody comments on their journal then nobody reads it? its not a popularity contest, its a means of venting, sharing special moments, telling something to the world, keeping up with friends and family i dont talk to much, etc, who cares if you have 0 comments or 50 comments? i just like the fact that i can post something for all my friends to read along with strangers that happen to stumble across it. I could care less if i have any comments on it although they are fun to read. if you want comments on your journal post something for people to comment on such as a survey where they reply with their answers, i read every one of my friends journals on a daily basis, just because i dont comment doesnt mean i dont read the whole thing.

this was not directed at any one person, im just sick of people complaining that nobody replys to their journal. i was not trying to insult anyone and im sorry if i do. |

the media these days is really starting to piss me off, all they talk about is the bad side of things, frmo the journal i meantioned on my last post i read this
"We were in motor boats all day ferrying people back and forth approximately a mile and a half each way (from Carrolton down Airline Hwy to the Causeway overpass). Early in the day, we witnessed a black man in a boat with no motor paddling with a piece of lumber. He rescued people in the boat and paddled them to safety (a mile and a half). He then, amidst all of the boats with motors, turned around and paddled back out across the mile and a half stretch to do his part in getting more people out. He refused to give up or occupy any of the motored boat resources because he did not want to slow us down in our efforts. I saw him at about 5:00 p.m., paddling away from the rescue point back out into the neighborhoods with about a half mile until he got to the neighborhood, just two hours before nightfall. I am sure that his trip took at least an hour and a half each trip, and he was going back to get more people knowing that he'd run out of daylight. He did all of this with a two-by-four."
why dont we hear about these heroic people on the news ever? im sure he didnt want any mention, he was just doing what he felt was right but all the media wants to focus on is the people who are dead and numbers, they wont tell you about the civilians who are risking their lives to help others |

So I have decided to be a bum. Ive had 3 jobs, each and every one of them has screwed me over in one way or another. Sykes...well they laid me off after training.....Dakota sound...they told me i wouldnt get hours for a month or 2...its been almost a year since he said that and still hasnt called me......Target...has promised me a raise after 90 days but nobody has gotten one in the last 2 months and when they asked the HR person she said they dont do them anymore so therefor ive decided having a job isnt worth it if im just gonna get screwed over. although i did apply at best buy, im hoping they have an opening they will let me have a job, they start at 7.50 an hour thats 1.50 more than im gettin paid now if they screw me over too im officialy done with jobs forever. |

this last week and a little more was so great:D Ash was here last week Sat, her her brother and her dad were on their way to minneapolis but spent the night here, me and ash fell asleep on the floor in the family room where her brother my brother and her dad were sleeping, I think its the best sleep ive had in a long time, i always sleep best when shes in my arms:D. then she went to minneapolis on sun :( but they came back on wed and she got to spend the rest of the week here till sun, we didnt do a whole lot, but we did go to red lobster, we both had the ultimate feast which was very good, she had never eaten at red lobster so it was really a treat for her. i taught her how to open crab legs too, then she was strugling with a claw so i did it for her and shot it across the room....i think i set a record....the best part though is that the meat stayed. i cant think of anything else to write about except how much i miss and love ash but i dont think anyone except her really cares so ill leave it at that |
